Similar to veneers, composite materials can be used to reshape and whiten teeth, however in this instance no “shells” are used, but instead a substance similar to white fillings. They are more suitable for repairs, chipped teeth, and correction of limited overcrowding. Composite materials are similar to materials used for white fillings – resin-based, with fillers of very small particles – making them strong polishable, and stain-resistant.
